Selecting fibers for astronauts clothing

SPACE WALK:

About this Quest:
This webquest places you in the role of scientists and artists. You will research, evaluate, and select a fiber/fibers used to construct astronaut apparel. You will also design the new space suit with the final step being introducing your suit to the NASA Commmittee for their approval and selection for the official 2004 NASA apparel.

Quest Author:
I'm a secondary Family Consumer Science/Art instructor at Thedford High School, located in the Sandhills of Nebraska. My students like to learn things in new and different ways and I like being creative so this has been a lot of fun for both of us.
