Introduction


At this time, you are studying an intregal part of the United States history with the War of 1812. This war cost the United States 2,2060 deaths and $158 million dollars. This war with Britain started with the interference of Britain in the stopping of United States trade with France. Also, at this time, British warships where stopping American ships and forcing them into impressment. Many of these issues are discussed in our book but I want you to explore your own interests of the War of 1812 and find some new ideas to talk about in class. Good luck on your research!!
