Issue or Tip
| Information
| Losing internet connection
| This may be caused by an incompatibility with a Linksys router: WRT45G. The router software can be either upgraded or downgraded. More info: Linksys Community Forum OR a QUICK Fix: Open System Preferences (under the Apple menu), then Network. In the Network window, select the AirPort in the left side column. At the bottom left side, click on the lock, and if it is locked it will ask for administrator's login and password. Then click on the Advanced button to the lower left side of the window. Click on the TCP/IP button at the top of the window. And in the box beside DHCP Client ID: Type in a name: name of school should work, (it doesn't seem to matter what name).
| Can't upload podcasts
| 2 quick fixes: Download Opera from www.opera.com and use for uploading, OR use the Admin account to upload podcasts. (This seems to be a problem with Teacher/Student accounts and Safari and Firefox.) To find your podcasts from the Admin account: click on Macintosh HD, Users, Teacher, and then find the folder where you saved your project. You may need the admin login and password to access that folder.
