"No Budget Band"

Playing for the 2008 Alumni dance

The "No Budget Band" has performed for numerous public events in the North Platte area including the Lincoln County Blue Grass Festival in April 2007, where they received a 3rd place award. Among other notable events, they performed for public entertainment during the great Rail Fest in North Platte in September 2007 and have performed for WalMart's annual employee summer barbeque and Christmas parties.
They play a mixture of blue grass, country, and classic rock-n-roll. The band is lead by Tim Golden who plays lead guitar and banjo and Mike Janecek, who plays rhythm guitar and mandolin. Mike is a 1976 MCHS alumnus. Also playing drums and rhythm guitar in the band is Alek Janecek, a 2007 MCHS Alumnus.

Scholarship Fundraiser / Catered Meal

Our catered meal is a fundraiser for the scholarship fund. The meal being planned will be roast beef and all the trimmings, salad and dessert. It will be served from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. Kathleen Fisher, Class of 74 is the caterer. Reservations with money are required and due May 19, 2008. Reservations cannot be guaranteed unless accompanied by payment. Your tickets for the meal will be held at the door for you to collect that evening.
