The Personal Side

I am the oldest of five children.  I have one sister and three brothers.  Mom always said she had the calm (the girls) before the storm (the boys).  We grew up in Lingle, WY and graduated from Lingle-Fort Laramie High School. Two of us went on to college and received teaching degrees. Can you guess which two?  Now we live in three states. There are two of us in Nebraska, one in Wyoming and one in Colorado.  One of my brothers passed away in December of 2006 due to Cystic Fibrosis.  We found out that two of my brothers have this disease in 1974.  Family is very important to me and that probably a good thing as my family tree is quite huge.

In the fall of 1993, I exchanged wedding vows with Mike and we reside in North Platte.  We have no children, but have kitties to keep us company.           

Some of my favorite things to do are:  reading, crafting, scrapbooking, and traveling to visit family.
